Make Your Man Feel Special

I get ridiculed a lot by women who think that what I do at home is meaningless. I get asked the question all the time when I talk about the things that I do for my family, especially my husband is this:
"Do you really do that?"

My answer to that question is simple. . . YES! I do all those things I talk about. So today, one of the things I wanted to talk about with you is making your man feel special. No ladies, I am not talking about in the bedroom, but I am talking about doing something for your husband that makes him feel like the king in his home.

One of the things that I do for my husband is that I try very hard to make sure he has a delicious lunch when he comes for his lunch break every day. He only has a certain amount of time to spare, so I prepare his lunch and have it ready for him at the table, along with everything he needs to eat--his drink, dessert if I have one prepared, computer open and ready for him (cause he likes to look for stuff on his lunch break), and then I do my best to sit down and talk to him and pay attention to him while he is home.

It has become something that the kids get involved in too. They love to dote on their dad and make him feel special. It is really no extra time out of my day to do this special gesture for him. I know it makes him feel loved and special when I make extra effort to care for his needs like that.

So what are some things that you do to make your husband feel special?

What a blessing! :D I'm sure your husband feels so special. :D

I try to make his favorite things on occassion for meals and listen to his issues at work, as he has no other outlet. I also like to send him text messages or emails just to let him know I'm thinking and praying for him.

Have a great Monday!

I have a "list" of things that I like to get done before Brian comes home everyday.
Make sure there is a pitcher...yes pitcher (the man drinks a LOT) of sweet tea made. A clean towel. The trash taken to the dump. ick!! and clean dishes in the cabinets.

Not much, but it does make him a lot more chipper!

What an awesome idea, and a way to make him feel special and loved! Do you have fun with the table and making a fun centerpiece and all? I have to admit that I don't usually do stuff like that but I've seen pictures on blogs and people really go all out sometimes.

I like how you bolded the part about "paying attention" because with kids and distractions and all it is easy to place hubby's needs last, and we really have to make sure we don't do that.

Next year will be my last year of homeschooling as my youngest will be graduating. I am in my 16th year of homeschooling and I will miss it, I must admit! Thanks for linking up today.

aweseome! I am betting he feels very special with those lunches :)
I like to surprise my hubby with his fave coffee made ths way he prefers it: hot, strong, and black.....or with his fave dessert and an evening for us to just sit on couch and talk. I also try to meet his love language daily because it's words of affirmation and he has always told me that makes him feel most special...he NEEDS that...and it's an honor to find those words and lift him up! Blessings to you!

Your husband looks like a blessed man, and I'm sure that he appreciates the way you actively show your love to him. Far from meaningless, and I'm glad you shared it on Marriage Mondays today!

It is so important to make our husbands feel special. I have been overseas for more than 3 months and it has taken a lot of creativity to make my husband feel special while I have been away. And...lots of fun!

I'm inviting you to my HELLO, HANDSOME! blog party!
