Ingredients
1 tablespoon of chili powder
2 teaspoons of onion powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of paprika
1 teaspoon of oregano
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tsp cornstarch
3/4 cup water
Directions
Mix all the dry ingredients together and use with your taco meat. Pour the water in the pan and cook just like you would for tacos. The amount above is the same amount that is in one packet of taco seasoning mix at the store.

Thank you!! I have such a sensitivity to packaged or bottled taco seasonings and such, that give me a three-day headache! I really appreciate this recipe. :-)
My comment may have disappeared. Just wanted to thank you for this recipe, for I avoid packaged seasonings because of that special ingredient they add: poison that gives me a three-day headache. I'm looking forward to making this! :-)

This looks great and easy! I'm always forgeting to pick up a packet of taco seasoning and then have to scrap my plans for a taco dinner that night. I stock all these items though so now I can just mix up my own! Can't wait to try it.
