Our Holiday Schedule

I absolutely love the holidays! From November 1st until the end of the year, I am just in the holiday spirit! In fact, I am already in such a holiday spirit that I am putting away our regular curriculum schedule to focus on the holidays and lots of fun recipes, books, and baked goodies!

We plan on watching movies, learning about Thanksgiving, The Christmas Story and more all during these days! I thought each week, I would share with you the things we are going to be doing so that maybe you can do them too!

Are you excited about the holidays yet?

I love the holiday season too! In fact, we've been listening to Christmas music already. Today, we're putting up our tree and decorations and having a special dinner along with Bible study. I'm so excited about today! I cleaned the house some last night so it would be all ready for the decorating!

I like your idea of setting aside curriculum for a short time to focus on all that can be learned and enjoyed during the holiday season. Isn't that one of the great things about homeschooling? I look forward to hearing about all that you're going to be doing. We might incorporate some of it! :)

Hope you have a wonderful day!

I love the holidays...just wish they weren't so commeicalized and that we could truly enjoy their real meaning. But yes I am getting excited.

I am so excited about the holidays too! I am looking for different ways to put some special focus on Thanksgiving and Christmas during our school time. That way we can learn the real meanings of the holidays. I look forward to hearing about your school schedule and what all you do!
I got the digital supplement from TOS and it has some great stuff in it! I know I'll find something good in it.
Have a great week!
