The 2010 Winter Olympics

The kids and I are looking forward to beginning this study for the rest of February. We have put aside our normal history studies to really do an in depth study of the Winter Olympics.

I have never taken an interest before until this year and when I saw this study, I could not pass it up! I have already poured over all the pages and have learned so much myself about the history of the Olympics. Not only are we going to be learning about the history, but we are going to be following all of the events and keeping track of the winners for each event.

I have had experience with lapbooks from A Journey Through Learning and from all the ones I have used, theirs are laid out the best (that is my opinion). I like how you have a study guide page and then the corresponding lapbook mini books to fill out. It keeps me from having to search for which study guide goes with which mini book.

This lapbook is only $4.00 and will make a wonderful study for the rest of the month for you and your kids. You can get your very own copy by clicking here. You can also see sample pages and what the completed lapbook will look like. Once we get it and our other lapbook completed (both of them are from A Journey Through Learning) I will post pictures for you to see!

This lapbook was provided by A Journey Through Learning so that I could review it and share how I feel about it in my own opinion. I was not compensated in any other way.
