A Day At the Lake

We went to the lake a couple of weeks ago in the evening and instead of fishing this time I just decided to look around. I came across this really neat sculpture:
A festival happens every August down at Land Between the Lakes called Hot August Blues. I have never been because I am not a fan of blues music. However I found this piece of art intriguing. A closer look. . .

And of course, the beautiful Kayla had to pose for me so I could snap a photo of her!

While we were sightseeing, the boys, of course, were out fishing. It is what they do best!

Here is one other photo I took of something I thought was really cool!

What kind of sightseeing have you done lately?

We drove through the Land Between the Lakes area a few months ago after visiting Paris, TN. My daughter, who is obsessed with all things Paris HAD to see the replica of the Eiffel Tower. We really had a lot of fun and the scenery around the LBTL is beautiful! We had hoped to head back this summer and do some camping in the area...we'll see..Blessings!:)
