Look What Came In the Mail Today!

I love participating in the HSBA Swap. It is one of the highlights of my blogging fun! My new partner this time around was a lovely lady named Monica! She is such a blessing!! She blogs at PaperBridges.net, so be sure and hop on over there and say hi to her.

For this swap, I got tabbed dividers ( I REALLY needed these as I had run out recently), new Sharpie markers in pastel colors (be still my beating heart. . .psst, if you didn't notice, I am kind of a Sharpie junkie. They are my fave). I also got a new book that I cannot wait to dive into! It's called A Perfect Mess. Totally sounds like me! Then she got me a whole pack of Blistex (the daughter confiscated the green tube), and an awesome brain teaser puzzle. I am loving trying to get people to figure out the puzzle. My favorite thing she sent me though is the FRESH ground coffee!! I am having some of that in the morning!!

Look at What I Got In The Mail

My swap buddy Misty sent me the most fabulous gift ever this swap!

I love my new coffee mug and the candle smelled delicious!

The candy bars did not make it through the day. I had one and hubby had the other one.

If you would like to participate in the Swap, then head on over to HSBA and sign up.

Meet My Swap Sister!

Last year, I read about this really cool homeschool swap program that was going on over at HSBA. It was later in the year and I was not able to get in on the fun, but THIS year, I was so excited to know that I actually got in on time.

So I would like you all to meet my swap sister, Kris. Many of you probably already know her if you read her blog, Weird Unsocialized Homeschoolers (I LOVE her blog title). She is the coolest homeschool mom I know ( and I know lots of them).

The way the swap works, is each month, I get a package in the mail from her. I also get to mail her a package as well. Nothing big and expensive, but just a little gift to let each other know that you are appreciated and that you are being prayed for. Here is a photo of what I got this week in the mail:

It was an awesome gift! I got Sharpie markers which I go through like CRAZY, my favorite candy of all time--Starbursts, a pack of Post-It-Notes which I use all the time, a devotional book for moms, some lotion, AND my FAVORITE thing is a "Honk if you Homeschool" sticker. I have always wanted one of those stickers, but have never been able to find them anywhere!
Kris, thanks so much for my gift for August! You should be getting yours any day now!
If you have never signed up for something like this, may I suggest it to you? It is very fun and rewarding!
