I am not sure if you are part of a homeschool group or not. If you are not, I encourage you to find one and plug you and your family in. This has been our third year homeschooling and I have come to lean on my homeschool group for more than just schooling information. Some of my best friends are the ladies that are in my group. There are also lots of great activities and field trips that you can attend when you become part of a homeschool group.
Like this one from Saturday. Our group got together and had a hayride and bonfire. It was THE best time I have had in a very long time.
The trampoline is always a fun toy to play on!
Our hostess of the evening showed the girls how to play “Hillbilly Golf”.
The little guys played a game of tag football.
Even the littlest ones had a grand time playing. . with whatever they could find to play with.
The men manned the fire and caught up with each other. This was a special time for them, because most of them miss out on our monthly meetings and don’t get to spend much time together.
Then the older boys headed off for a game of football—tackle style!
As soon as the older boys left the trampoline, the younger kids grabbed it, and Nancy got them to pose for a group photo, so I took full advantage!
We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and also had chili!
And then it was time for the hayride! Even the little ones enjoyed it.
See how much fun you can have with others? And they call us unsocialized! As if!
Happy Homeschooling!
