What? No Bread? Nooooo!


I am quite agitated by my digestive system lately. I don't know if it is because I am getting older or what, but my body is having a hard time processing bread--BUMMER!

I love bread, but every single time I eat too much of it, I get SO sleepy, almost as if I am drugged. I don't want to do away with bread completely, but I guess until I figure out what is causing this, I have to eliminate foods a little at a time. So, the first to go on my try list is bread--not a happy camper.

I won't be posting anything new until Monday. I am taking another couple of days off to give myself time to love on my younguns. They come home today!

It might not be the bread as much as the gluten in it. Sometimes sprouted grain breads like Ezekiel Bread uses up enough of the gluten to do the trick. There are also gluten free bread options out there. "Food For Life" makes a nice rice bread and rice tortillas.

Give up bread? Now that would be difficult! I did it years ago when on Atkins, but not so sure if I could man up to it nowadays!

Your a brave women. I dont think i could give bread up.
